The Pilgrim Project is an acoustic duo featuring violinist Rachel Crick and guitarist Jeff Calhoun. Their music is an eclectic blend of folk, American Roots, blues, jazz and country woven together in an inspiring spiritual tapestry.

The Pilgrim Project's self-titled debut is a moving collection of instrumental acoustic music and intimate vocal tunes that features instrumental arrangements of classic hymns as well as Celtic and modern classical styles made for times of meditation and quiet reflection. The music featured on this debut was born when the duo came together for the first time to create music for a Lenten Sacred Arts concert series. The overwhelming response to their performance coupled with their remarkable musical kinship led them to pursue recording an album together and officially form The Pilgrim Project

Beyond the music featured on their debut release they have developed a diverse and impressive repertoire of music. Hearing The Pilgrim Project perform live is an unforgettable experience. With Rachel and Jeff each being world-class players with diverse musical backgrounds, the duo effortlessly moves through remarkably unique covers of songs by artists ranging from the Beatles to Gillian Welch and Mary Gauthier to traditional spirituals and hymns. Their original songs put the broad range of their diverse musical roots on full display with music that is as refreshingly enjoyable as it is unique.
