The Pennyroyal Arts Council is thrilled to announce that multi-platinum country music singer-songwriter Deana Carter will headline the 11th Annual Hoptown Holiday Hopfest on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Alhambra Theatre.

Doors open at 6:00 PM; the show begins at 7:30 PM.

Carter burst onto the country music scene with her 1996 debut album, Did I Shave My Legs for This?, which went certified 5× Multi-Platinum in the United States. She followed with Everything’s Gonna Be Alright (1998), I’m Just a Girl (2003), The Story of My Life (2005), and The Chain (2007). Across her celebrated career, Carter has released 14 singles, including three No. 1 hits on the Billboard Country charts: “Strawberry Wine,” “We Danced Anyway,” and “How Do I Get There.”

Now in its eleventh year, the Hoptown Holiday Hopfest has firmly established itself as one of Hopkinsville’s most talked-about events. What began as a Hopkinsville Leadership Class initiative to bring big-city entertainment to the Alhambra stage has grown into a cornerstone annual fundraiser for the historic theatre—honoring its rich heritage while showcasing national talent. Past Hopfest headliners include Wynonna, The SteelDrivers, Marty Stuart, Lonestar, Max Weinberg, and Billy Bob Thornton.

Over the past decade, Hopfest has raised more than $140,000, directly supporting the Pennyroyal Arts Council’s mission to bring world-class entertainment to our community and to sustain the Alhambra Theatre as a vibrant cultural hub.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS WHO HELP TO MAKE THIS EVENT POSSIBLE. WE ARE ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!
