Watch with us from The Hall at the Alhambra or from your home!

Led by Dr. Tony Morris, Department Chair of APSU Art + Design with Ph.D. in Art History.

The story of Circe bridges the gap between the gods and man, showing human-like fatal flaws and imperfections in immortal beings which allow us to relate to them on a personal level. The Hellenistic period cultivated the same connection, bringing a new level of naturalism and expression to the gods and heroes of the Classical age. Dr. Tony Morris leads us on an exploration of the art and architecture of the Hellenistic period.
